WEDNESDAY NIGHTS Following a lengthy break, the members of Good Hope were excited to begin Wednesday night services again on March 4, 2026. The group returned with fellowship and a meal, then dove into God's Word with open hearts and a readiness to learn. Good Hope's new pastor, Danny Menges, and his wife, Tonja, have brought new energy and light back to the 150-year-old church. You might say they brought the "hope" back to Good Hope. Join us on Wednesday nights at 5:30 for a meal and fellowship before Bible Study at 6:00. There is also a youth gathering, so bring your children and visit, eat, and let's study together. They are moving her to Dallas for more therapy. Sheila Eves - kidney failure, family members will help if a match, but she has artery blockages that must be cleared first Bot Thomas - in a rehab facility following a fall and head injury Obid Massey and his family as he recovers from extensive surgery Coach Preston Weeks & his wife as he recovers from cancer surgery Angela (Shannon's co-worker) has infection in her amputated leg - pray that antibiotics keep further amputation from happening upcoming VBS - planning, workers, and that community is reached, friends made, and lives changed Lisa Smith - fighting depression & grief from losing her father recently Susan Stone (East Texas Baptist Association employee), recovering following strokes, still needs prayer Blake Blackwell and his mother, Jerry, as he cares for her Kevin Haygood - eye issues Scott Thornton - health issues Christina's mother-in-law is on hospice (this is a friend of Carmella) Mike Howeth Rhonda Porter - back issues Tyler Treece and family - (he is a coworker of Evan's ) Donny Manck - cancer People who are traveling - safety and protection Nancy Anderson - home recovering from surgery Angela Odum's mom - fell, broke her femur, will have surgery - quick recovery Mack Pool - shoulder issues Margie Pheelan (Mrs. Lucy's sister) - upcoming stomach scan for pain & discomfort Dodd Dorsey - massive heart attack (widowmaker) at son's wedding in Italy - now stuck there until healthy enough to travel - extra expenses and stress from being away from home & jobs UPDATES & ADDITIONS 06/22/26 Sue - hard decisions and home life 6/19/26 Jadyn Gardner - 18-year-old from Arp-biopsy results show one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer.
